Ishikawa Glass Kogei-Sya
Engaged in glassmaking in Okayama and Kurashiki. Studied under the renowned glass artisan, Mr. Shinzō Kotani, a leading figure in Kurashiki Glass.
Glass comes to life quickly, taking shape with honesty and energy. Traditionally, glass has been used for everyday items, and I still create many functional pieces with a calm and focused approach, without rushing or hesitating.
Beauty is part of making useful things, and sharing this beauty with others brings me great joy. I hope you will appreciate and use these creations.
With these thoughts in mind, I stay committed to my craft, honoring the teachings of my mentor, Mr. Shinzō Kotani.

The joy of this world is to find beauty in work that is useful and to make people happy through it.
I ask that you please treat it with kindness.
With these thoughts in mind, I continue to follow the teachings of my master, Shinzo Kotani, and work silently on my creative endeavors.
